Christmas Around the World For Kids Activities -- Homeschooling Fun Through The Holidays

One of our year-long homeschool classes this year is World Geography, but I like to do a lot of holiday activities and lessons during November and December. So, I'm combining the two to make this Christmas Around the World for Kids Activities series!

During the first two weeks in December, I'll be sharing twelve activities that we're doing with our kids to learn more about different people, cultures, histories, and traditions around the world! They will be perfect for homeschoolers, but a lot of them can be used in classrooms too!

AND, I made this fantastic little "passport" for the 12 activities we'll be doing this year! So, after we do the activity, we'll paste in the "stamp" for that country/activity!  If you print pages 1-4 front-to-back, you can fold them in half like a passport book, and staple it closed. :)  I'll put in a little video to show what I mean in the next day or two.

Anyway, you can get grab the little passport file {free} right here!
===>> Important: Please do not share just the file on Facebook or in emails...please instead share a link to this blog post so people can download the file themselves. "Traffic" to this blog allows me to share resources like this for free. ðŸ’– Thank you!! ðŸ’–

As I type up each day, I'll be linking to them all below! I'll even try to post them a day ahead of schedule so you can see what we end up doing.

Here is my schedule**:

  1. Hi!
Just wondering what you did for Brazil. I know it says a helicopter ornament but I haven't seen anything online about that being a tradition in Brazil. Just curious as I am planning to do this with my preschool kids. Thanks!

    1. Hi Paige! I'm sorry I'm about 2 months late following up on this, but in case you want to do it next year... there's a tradition in Rio de Janeiro (and several other large Brazilian cities) where Papa Noel arrives at the Christmas celebration in a helicopter and hands out gifts and goodies to the children. I was debating on what kind of helicopter ornament to make with the kids--craft sticks, clay, or something else! I still need to do a whole write up!
