Policies

Read on for my Privacy PolicyDisclosuresCopyright & Terms of Use, and a Special Note on Responsibility!

Privacy Policy:

You are visiting a blog where I, Carla, do my best to share brilliant ideas and resources with you. It's a typical self-owned, small business: I do something that I am passionate about, and as an expression of your gratitude you pay me for my services. Often your payment is simply allowing ads to scroll across your screen. Sometimes you buy something or sign up for an email. Either way, by using this site you are allowing information about you to be collected. If you do not give consent for your information to be collected, please do not use this site.

In an effort to comply with international laws on privacy (like GDPR), I am listing the ways I collect information about you. Feel free to send me an email at preschoolpackets@gmail.com any time with questions or to be removed from any data collection within my power.

This blog is hosted by Blogger. Blogger collects information about you such as your IP address. In theory I can access this, but in reality I have no idea how to go about it. Honestly, if it bothers you to have your IP address recorded I'd suggest not using the internet. Blogger is GDPR compliant.

This blog collects cookies. These track your behavior through your IP address so Google knows if you've visited this site before. You should have a note on the top of your screen reminding you that this site, like most, uses cookies. Again, if cookies bother you, you probably shouldn't be online.

I am an Amazon affiliate. This means that Amazon collects information about you. Amazon is GDPR compliant.

I use Google Analytics on this blog. I love Google Analytics. It tells me which pages you spend the most time on, which posts you visit the most, and even what country you're in. Google and its websites are GDPR compliant.

If you sign up for an email from me, you are providing your name (or a fake name) and an email address. This information as well as your country and probably your IP address is stored by Active Campaign, the company I use to send emails. You can easily unsubscribe from any email you sign up for by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of every email or by sending me an email and asking me to unsubscribe you. I am always happy to do this, but please ask nicely because it's a lot more work for me to look you up in the system and unsubscribe you than it is for you to simply click "unsubscribe." Active Campaign is GDPR compliant.

Any site you click to from a link on my site (including ads, Facebook, Pinterest, or anything else) is most likely going to collect information about you using cookies and your IP address. It's how the internet works. You are never required to follow or interact with me on any other website, but I am always delighted when you stop by and say "Hi!"

When this site grows enough, ads on it will be set up and organized by MediaVine. They will collect information from you also. They are GDPR compliant.

If you buy something from my site, you will do it through PayPal. They collect information about you too. They haven't announced that they are GDPR compliant yet, but I am sure they will be soon.  You can also buy all my products through TeachersPayTeachers and TeachersNotebook, though they don't have all the same discounts you can get by ordering straight through me. They both have very detailed privacy policies you can read on their sites.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me, and I'll do my best to answer them.

Now, on to other very important topics:

Disclosures:

This blog may contain affiliate links, giveaways, ads, sponsors, and occasionally sponsored posts.  All opinions expressed will be mine.  I only give away or link to products that I do recommend 100%!

When I host giveaways, I am usually provided with a copy of the giveaway item to review for free.

You never pay more for a product by using my affiliate links; however, when you purchase a product after clicking to it through my links I receive a small advertising fee.  You will only see items that I am happy to use myself and recommend 100%!

I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

Copyright & Terms of Use:

All items in this blog are copyright protected. This includes my posts, text, words, printables, and all pictures.  Just because you cite a source does not give you permission to reprint pictures and blog posts.

You may:

  • You are welcome to share one picture from a post and a short teaser that sends your readers back to my blog for the actual post.

You may not:
  • You may not copy and paste my words or pictures in your blog, website, Facebook page, or elsewhere.  That is illegal.  The one exception is listed above under "you may."
  • You may not post my printables for people to download on your blog, website, Facebook page, or elsewhere.  That is also illegal.  (I would love to have you share the materials by providing a link to this blog, where people may download them for themselves.)
  • Please do not give away your copy of a printable.  Instead, send your friends to my blog and let them download their own copy.

Thank you for allowing me to maintain this blog by not duplicating my materials elsewhere on the internet.
If you have any questions about anything on this page (or anything else!), please email me at preschoolpackets@gmail.com.
