Summer Charades Cards - Free Game!!
It's still hot outside, so we're still calling it summer! These summer charades cards are perfect for family game nights, campfire games, or just fun!
When I was younger, one of my favorite games to play with our family was charades! We were pretty competitive, so we were usually really picky about rules (like no sounds allowed)! Now when I play with my kids, I often let them get away with little grunts or other soft sounds, lol -- I've turned into a bit of a "softie!" lol!
Anyway, I've noticed two advantages to using cards for charades (instead of just letting everyone pick whatever they think of in their heads):
1- There's no changing of the minds after they begin...sometimes I'm sure that one of the kids guessed someone's word so quickly that the person acting out the word changed it without telling anyone!
2- It goes a little bit faster because people don't stand in front of everyone for 1-2 minutes thinking of their word when it's their turn!
These summer words are super fun, and can make some hilarious charades with them!
You can also use them for games like Pictionary and Taboo (Taboo-like games are extra fun because there are no "taboo'ed" words, which makes it a little easier for groups with kids to play)!
