DIY Summer Camp Activities for Older Kids: Art Theme

Art is the theme for the second week of our DIY Summer Camp Activities series! It is the theme my own girls are most looking forward to!

My oldest has loved art since she figured out how to put a crayon on paper--the projects have just grown with her! Now that she's about to start 7th grade, she is capable of amazing work.

Last fall I hosted a Middle School Art Class for homeschoolers in our area, and we had a great time making optical art, using clay, learning about color, lines, horizon, and so much more. I still have a lot of projects from that class to write up for you!

But during the 2nd week in May, I am joining with some other incredible bloggers to bring you Art Projects to build a DIY Art Summer Camp!  You are going to love each day--there are AMAZING projects planned!! Be sure to check back each day for the live links!!
