Hawaiian Christmas Mystery--Part of a Hands-On Christmas Around the World!

I've started working on a Hands-On Christmas Around the World series, and this Hawaiian Christmas mystery is the first part of it!

Did you know that Santa comes to Hawaii in an outrigger canoe? What happens when the canoe disappears? Your kiddos need to read the mystery introduction, the six suspect cards, the 10 clue cards, and figure out who is guilty by eliminating the suspects using the information in the clue cards! The clue cards use logic, math, and other fun to prove suspects "not-guilty." A tracking sheet is included for your detective kids to write down notes--it can also be used as an assignment to turn in or a journal page to keep track of all the Christmas mysteries you do this winter!

There is also a solution page that tells why each suspect is not guilty and gives more back-story on the guilty suspect!

This mystery is designed for upper elementary and middle school students (about 3rd - 7th grades), though younger and older children may enjoy it too. It takes about 30-50 minutes (depending on your child's age and ability).
